Relationship Manager:Threshold’s Relationship Managers are personal stewards of the client relationship. They guide families through the complex process of managing family wealth by serving as a “general contractor” for an array of professional services. They apply knowledge, oversight, coordination and planning in order to manage the necessary resources. They act as managers of expertise and as advocates for our clients’ interests. This role requires knowing the client, their needs and their advisors at a level that allows us to understand both the big picture and the details, both long-term goals and the tasks of the day. The Relationship Manager must recognize when something is or isn’t working; when a situation must be preserved or changed; when a need requires something simple or a more specialized expertise; when it’s time to listen or time to push for a decision. Guiding a family relationship is an intimate dynamic that is built over time and is based on trust, mutual respect, preserved privacy and a desire to learn. It requires both high-level perspective and a rolling up of sleeves to get the work done. This balance is where we excel. |
